Every piece of wearable art here was crafted by at least six artisans to make a client's dream come true. These are custom pieces that cannot be reproduced in the exact same way because of how special they are. But we feature them here to inspire you on the possibilities.
The Art in Jewels approach to custom work or commissions is not a linear one. Each piece is personally designed by Anne herself, with your requirements in mind, but with the same flair she applies to every jewel she creates for AiJ. She begins with an inspiration—usually the gemstones themselves incite that first flicker of the vision—and then she expands the possibilities from there. Anne often takes snippets from your story, weaves them with an image from nature... or something else. There's really no one way to explain how the creative process works. There are almost always pleasant surprises along the way, but one thing is for sure, every jewel she creates is carefully considered and meticulously crafted down to the last detail.
